Fullstack Job: Back End Engineer

ValueWorks was founded in 2020 as the first software solution with a real focus on executives as users and offers the intelligent operating system for founders & executive managers. The founders are long-time experts in enterprise software (especially SAP) and top management consulting (Bain & Company, McKinsey) and have mapped their experience into a unique software solution. In the pre-seed funding round, ValueWorks has raised over 700,000 euros and is on its way to the seed round. ValueWorks provides a cloud-based, integrated and intelligent enterprise software that supports the entire management process from planning to reporting to execution (using OKR).

Tasks

We are looking for a Backend/Fullstack Developer to help us develop our backend and integrations in particular. You will work with our small team consisting of developers, founders and a UX designer.

• You translate business requirements into functional specifications and actual software and ensure fit of the solution with client/ValueWorks business need
• You develop end-to-end solutions from concept-development with internal or client stakeholders to MVP/final implementation

Requirements

• Web development experience
• Strong programming skills (strong knowledge of Python)
• Full proficiency in English
• You study at a German university

Nice to have:

• Any open-source work or student projects solving hard problems
• Machine-learning experience with non-stationary data
• OAuth 3rd party data access integration
• Vue development experience
